transfer domain name

    I have a domain name registered with Shopify which is up for renewal Aug 2014 (katemadeloso.com)
    I do not have a site built through Shopify. I have a WordPress site: madeloso.wordpress.com
    I would like to upgrade my WordPress site to Premium. And I would like my domain name as katemadeloso.com
    If I do not renew with Shopify will I be able to secure my domain name through WordPress?
    Premium is $99/year so is there an additional charge per year to keep my domain name and if so how much?

    It generally isn’t recommended to let your domain expire. I think you can keep your domain but I’m not sure how billing would work for that.
