  I had my website at tripod but I want to transfer it here. What do I need to do to make this happen?

  Hi there,

  To use a domain that you already own, you will need to set up domain mapping on your WordPress.com site. Please note that you will need to purchase an upgraded WordPress.com plan to be able to map a domain.
