Transfer Domain Name

  I am unsure if i should transfer my domain name or to map it. I currently use wix and have purchased my domain name already. I want the new domain name to be used here on wordpress.

  How new is the domain? A domain can’t be transferred to WordPress.com (or anywhere else for that matter) until you’ve owned it for 60 days. If the domain is new then mapping would be the initial solution and transferring could be carried out later.
