  Hello, I am wondering if I transfer my old domain name away from the old platform to WordPress will my email transfer along? It is a customized email with my domain supported by the old platform. I hope I’m not going to lose everything. Please share the steps, if available.

  In order for your current email to continue functioning after moving the domain over to WordPress.com, you will need to obtain the custom DNS records from your email provider and add them to your WordPress settings:
