Transfer Domain name equiheartyoga.com to bluehost then to wordpress.org

    I had the site equiheartyoga.com on worpress.org, I transferred it to Bluehost and have waited the 60 days and now I am able to transfer the domain name to wordpress.org but it is telling me I need an EPP authorization code, how do I find that and then initiate the transfer?

    Hi there,

    A domain transfer code can only be provided to you by the domain registrar where your domain is currently registered. Currently, your domain, equiheartyoga.com, is registered at Bluehost.com, so you need to contact them to unlock your domain and request a transfer code.

    You’ll then provide that transfer code to your new domain registrar you’re moving to.

    That said, WordPress.org is not a domain registrar, so you cannot transfer any domain to it. WordPress.org is just the website where the WordPress community makes the WordPress software. A domain can only be transferred to a domain registrar, like Bluehost, GoDaddy, Namecheap, or WordPress.com, to mention a few.
