transfer domain name registration from NS to WP

hello,
I’m very new to WordPress & all this web stuff. I’m a little confused and would appreciate some clarity.
I have owned a Domain Name “jesseluke.com” with NetWork Solutions for many years now and the renewal date is on 03.23.14. I have found a way to point that name to my WordPress account “jesselukeblog”.Is there a way to transfer everything to WP and keep the “jesseluke.com” domain name? I don’t want “jesseluke.wordpress.com” or any variation of “jesseluke.com”.
To be clear of my question, I do not want to pay Network solutions any more, I want to register with WP and keep “jesseluke.com”.
