Transfer domain name to another registrar

    I’m currently working on a client’s site, transferring the domain to a different registrar. However I’m having some issues with WordPress’s end.

    I’ve followed the instructions on https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/ and one part they’ve mentioned is that you have to wait 5 days for some code to be sent (?) There is another part in the article that states:

    “You can bypass the five-day waiting period by going to My Domains, and clicking Edit. Select Transfer Domain, and then Accept Transfer. This will initiate the transfer immediately.”

    … which I’ve done, as we have 3 days left on domain and I wish to transfer it immediately to sort it out.

    Except, we still haven’t received an activation (EPP) code yet. The email address on my client’s site is current and now with pressing “Accept Transfer” I don’t have any access to the domain details in order to press the “Email Transfer Code” button again.

    If anyone has any knowledge of how this is supposed to go, then I’d appreciate it. I also think the documentation is a bit light on important details, as I didn’t realise I wouldn’t have access to this stuff after pressing “Accept Transfer” even though no transfer code has been given nor has any transfer actually occurred yet.

    @livinginclips

    I’ve requested the EPP code be resent. Sometimes these emails end up in spam/junk folders, so if you ensure that those are looked through, hopefully the email will be found. If not, please let us know.
