transfer domain option not available

    Hi, the admins of this dijkenplein.nl are trying to transfer the domain from wordpress.com to another registrar. However the option is not available in the domain-overview.
    How can the domain still be transferred?

    Hi zevvy,

    dijkenplein.nl is registered through TransIP and connected to WordPress.com with domain mapping (this upgrade is owned by katertje).

    The transfer will need to be initiated through your TransIP account though, which is why there is no option to do so on WordPress.com.

    Do you still want to continue using the domain on WordPress.com or is the plan to use it for a site hosted elsewhere?

    katertje is welcome to contact us here if they need any help downgrading and removing domain mapping — as we’ll need their permission to make changes to upgrades.
