transfer domain or not

  my current site is w GoDaddy and its live online, i want to build a wordpress site but design it offline while still having my current site live is this possible?

  Yes this is possible you can choose any of the plans according to the features you need. Each paid plans comes up with a domain credit feature i.e you can either register for a new domain or you can transfer or map an existing domain to your site.

  After choosing the plan you can work on that without transferring or mapping your domain with the site and once you are sure about making your WordPress site live then you can easily map that domain with this site.
