Transfer domain out

    I am trying to transfer my domain asmissionaries.org from wordpress.com but it won’t give me an unlock code. It says an error has occurred while trying to send the unlock code and I should try again or contact support. I already tried again multiple times over the last two weeks.

    Thanks for the response. The last support post I made went unnoticed. I’ve tried the instructions in your link. Didn’t work.

    BTW WordPress automatically added “The blog I need help with is onomou.wordpress.com.” I don’t need help with a blog; I want my domain name asmissionaries.org.

    I’m worried about getting this done before WordPress automatically bills me for a renewal. I can’t even make it stop that from my account, and I’ve tried every help page from WordPress.com and several others to for instructions.

    The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner of the asmissionaries.org domain registration.

    So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to make any changes to asmissionaries.org.

    Okay, thanks for the tip, rootjosh. I had forgotten about the other account. I used the other account and it worked.

    But… Everything appeared in this account, transfer domain button and everything, so I didn’t think anything of it. Why do these things show up in my account if I can’t do anything about it?
