Transfer domain registration from WordPress.com to Bluehost

I’ve followed the support article to do this from wordpress.com https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/ and ‘domains’ nor ‘manage’ appears on my ‘My Sites’ under my domain stirringmyspicysoul.com. I’ve contacted Bluehost and a rep was able to direct me as best as he could but ultimately the domain registration is with wordpress and I would like for the hosting and the registration to be in the same place. I originally registered the domain through Wild West Domains who used WordPress.com as a reseller. I have another wordpress.com account where I do have the option to manage the domain name registration but I’m not using that account nor domain name anymore. I really just want to transfer the domain name registration from wordpress.com to bluehost and have followed all the processes and steps outlined by both companies. Can I get some assistance please? Thanks!

Hi there, no worries, we’ll help you sort this out. Your first hurdle to clear is this one:
I have another wordpress.com account where I do have the option to manage the domain name registration but I’m not using that account nor domain name anymore.
You won’t be able to manage the domain until you’re logged into the correct account, and stirringmyspicysoul.com is set up through a different username. Can you log out, then log in again using the email address that received purchase notifications and what not? That’s the one you’ll need to use to access the site.
If you don’t know what address that is, try commenting on one of your posts. In most cases, you’ll get an email notification at the correct address.
Then, when you’re logged in as the domain owner, try again to manage it. If you still need help, update us here.
