Transfer domain to a different registrar after cancelling upgrade package

  I cancelled my upgrade package, but I actually want to move the domain to another registrar. I had registered the domain with wordpress. I read the instructions for transferring the domain to another registrar only after I had already cancelled it. Now when I go to “my upgrades”, there is nothing to click on.

  Hi there,

  Since your domain was purchased so recently, it will soon (within the next couple of days) be released back to the general public and you can register it again with a different company.

  If you’d like, we can get your domain back for you if we act very quickly, however please note that you will not be able to transfer it for the first 60 days of the domain’s life. This is a rule that is mandated by the domain’s registry and not one which we can change.
