transfer domain to another registrar
-
Hi,
I’d like to transfer my custom domain name to another registrar.
I’ve followed the steps twice, but i only got a transfer-code once. When inputting the code @ new registrar, it seems the code is wrong (did it expire?). The code was sent 3 weeks ago now.
The domain is put on transferable.
Now i can’t edit anything in the ‘transfer to a new registrar’ page, there’s a yellow warning waying: These settings can be changed by the user ‘username’ (‘username’). That other user has exact the same screen.
So, now all the admins can’t edit.Any idea of how to unlock or what to do?
Is it possible to generate a new transfer code? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy –
Please share the domain that you’re looking to transfer. It’s important to note that the domain needs to be 60 days old before it can be transferred. You can still point it to a different site though through DNS modifications.

Hello, thank you both for taking the time to reply.
the domain is febiovzw.com
@joerepublic: that re-send button was present at first but now all i see is a yellow banner saying that the other administrator can edit. But the other admin sees the same. We’re stuck.
When i whois the domain, i see it’s transferred but the new registrar still asks for a transfer-code.

Hello!
As far as the entire internet is concerned, the domain has transferred to Wild West Domains. If you’re planning on keeping your blog with WordPress.com, then you’re all set.
According to the WordPress.com support doc;
“Once you initiate the transfer, there is a waiting period of five days. During this period, you will receive an email to confirm or cancel the transfer. After confirmation, the domain will be transferred within five days.”
Hope that helps!

Hi –
This process needs to be initiated from the account that owns febiovzw.com. This is the account that originally registered the domain.
