Transfer domain to other registrar was failed

    My domain, widodowirawan.com on WordPress.com will be expired on August 25, 2013. I have tried transfer it to another registrar. But, I got an unsuccessful notification. Although I have done all of the procedures before start the transfer process such as unlock my domain and cancel private registration.

    Here is the email notification I have got from my new registrar candidate:

    “The Order for Transfer and Renewal of widodowirawan.com through PT JOGJAHOST Web Hosting Domain Registrasi (PT JOGJAHOST Web Hosting Domain Registrasi) was denied by the Current Registrar of this domain name. This could be because of any of the following reasons:

    – The domain name has already expired.
    -The current owner of the Domain Name has some pending formalities with the Current Registrar.
    – The Current Registrar sent an email to the current domain holder asking to confirm this request, which was not completed.
    Please contact the Current Registrar of this domain name to find out why they denied this request.”

    Based on email, can you all give me some suggestions or solutions for that, because it seems like WordPress does not have private consultation (personal contact) for their customer?

    That is the only instructions I am aware of –

    I posted the link because many time people will ask for help in the forum and they have not checked the instructions and they are missing a step in what ever they are trying to do – so as a double check many of us post the links also – sort of a double check thing

    OK, thanks for that remaining…

    Do you have idea when there is no response from wordpress or solution from the staff, what should I do? Here my plans:

    1. Continue to renewing my domain? Note: I have disabled the automatic renew and delete my card number. I feel the domain from WordPress more expensif from others and that’s the way I will transfer it to another.

    2. Let domain expires? So sad If I should do this, because I have read the consequences…

    my blog is spesial blog for discussing about health and my private life and thought. Sometimes, there are comment reply which was out of the topic. Or that is some kind of spam? I don’t know… please help.

    I would advise you to renew with WordPress unless you get a response from staff within 24 hours. You don’t want to leave it until the last minute in case there are problems renewing.

    tandava108: ok, i’d consider it. For a while, i try to ask my new registrar to initiate transfer process one more time. If it also fail i had no choice, i should renew my domain on WordPress. Thanks a lot…

    OK, i hope this is the final step. I had asked my new registrar to make transfer process and it seem be succeed. This the email from Wordress I had received:

    Dear Widodo Wirawan,

    Automattic received notification on 8/20/2013 that you requested a domain transfer to another domain name registrar. If you want to proceed with this transfer, do not respond to this message. If you want to cancel the transfer, you must decline it before 24-Aug-2013.

    To decline the transfer:

    1. Go to the Automattic Domain Manager (http://dcc.securepaynet.net/default.aspx?prog_id=391143&isc=apibb2080) and log in with your customer number and password.

    2. Under the Domains tab, select PENDING TRANSFERS.

    3. Select the transfer you want to cancel, and then click ACCEPT/DECLINE.

    4. Select DECLINE, and then click OK.
