Transfer domain to wordpress

  Hi I want to transfer my domain to wordpress from godaddy. I turned off the domain mapping I paid for as I kept getting a warning saying that the domain was alreay connected to a blog. I got the transfer code from godaddy but I don’t know how to connect my domain to my wordpress blog. I turned off my domain mapping as instructed so now my domain does link to my blog and I’m being charged to turn the domain mapping back on when I want to transfer it to wordpress and consolidate everything under wordpress. Very confused can someone help.

  you can’t transfer domain registration to WordPress.COM – they are not set up to accept incoming transfers – you will need to keep you name registered somewhere else
