transfer domain to wordpress

  My domain is registered with gandi.net and people are then re-routed to wordpress. Can I take gandi out of the equation and simply register through wordpress? If so, how do I go about moving my domain?

  You can purchase a domain mapping upgrade http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/ and map an an existing domain (one you already own) to your WordPress.com blog.
