  You can also leave your domain registered with your current registrar and simple set it to point to your WordPress.com site using these instructions:

  I have a domain purchased through Go Daddy. I have initiated the transfer process with them and it is completed. The domain is unlocked and I’ve verified with them that I initiated the transfer. However, when I attempt to transfer it to WordPress on the WordPress website, it states that my domain is not transferable. What is my net step to resolve this?
