Transfer Expired Domain

    I want to transfer an expired domain barraespaciadora.com

    When i tried it, the system says that the provider of the domain (WordPress.com) has blocked the domain. I supose it must be the “Cancel Private Registration” option, what is avoiding the transfer.

    But the domain has expired some days ago and i don´t see that option anywhere in the WordPress Panel.
    Please, unblock my domine so i can request again the transfer.

    Hi,

    You’ll need to first renew the domain (via the My Upgrades page at https://bcninfoservices.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades ), and then begin the transfer process.

    Since transfers take 5-7 days typically, the system won’t allow a transfer for a domain with less than that much time left before expiration (or expired).

    After renewal, the expiration date will be in January 2015 and, with a transfer, it would extend the expiration again to January 2016.

    Please renew quickly as there’s a two-week grace period before our domain provider adds on a nasty late fee!

    As a final note, for a domain not registered with WordPress.com, there is a $13/yr Domain Mapping charge. When you renew your domain at WordPress.com, this wouldn’t apply to you until January 2015.
