transfer followers?

How do I get my former followers/subscribers on my wordpress.com blog to be transferred to my new self-hosted? Is that a service that wordpress can help perform?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes. You have to install the Jetpack plugin, if you have not already and then connect it with the wordpress.com account in question. Staff can then transfer them over for you.
I’ve tagged this thread for staff attention and hopefully they will be around soon to take care of this for you.

We can’t transfer anything for you until you have the Jetpack plugin enabled on your new site. Here’s a link that might be useful:

1) The blog address where your followers/subscribers are now.
2) The blog address where you want your followers/subscribers moved to.Once we have that information, I would be happy to take care of the transfer for you.
