Transfer followers from wordpress.com to wordpress.org

  Hi,

  I recently switched from wordpress.com to self hosted site and I would like my followers transfered to the new site. I already have the jetpack installed.

  Please activate the JetPack plugin and then follow these instructions http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site

  my jetpack is installed & activated and I tried following the instructions you provided but I have no option to migrate followers

  I read posts and forums that WordPress can transfer the followers, is that possible?

  Hi, with this part: “On the Settings page, click on migrate followers on the bottom”

  I don’t see this option anywhere.

  Thanks! Just to confirm, you’ve got your Jetpack linked site selected at the top of the sidebar? Not the WordPress.com site you want to transfer from?

  Alright. It sounds like you’re opening the WordPress.com site instead of the Jetpack site. Totally reasonable mix up since the URLs are the same. Can you try visiting this link directly?

  https://wordpress.com/settings/general/81667556

  If that still doesn’t work for you, I can manually transfer your followers.

  when I visit this link it’s same, can’t see the migration option. I tried switching between sites, but there’s no option nowhere.

  In the meantime, I’ve manually transferred your followers. You should see them appear shortly.
