Transfer followers to self-hosted site

  My website has moved from wordpress.com to a self-hosted site at nakedgrapecomics.com. I would like to have my followers moved, too.

  Please login to your WordPress admin for your self-hosted site.

  Then install and activate Jetpack. Finally connect it to WordPress.com.

  A staff member will then be able to help you with the transfer.

  I did all that, and the contact link lead me to posting this topic on the forum. Is there another way I’m supposed to contact the WordPress staff? I couldn’t find a direct email address.
