Transfer follows to WordPress.org

  Hi there,

  I just moved from wordpress.com to wordpress.org. Can you please transfer my followers?

  Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site I have tagged this thread for their attention.

  We can get this taken care of for you.

  Please keep in mind that while your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site. You might want to post a notice on your old site about your upcoming move to keep your readers informed.

  Hello,

  I would like to migrate my followers from my wordpress.com account to my self-hosted site. Can you please help me migrate my followers? I already have jetpack installed. This request is only for wordpress.com subscribers *not* e-mail subscribers.

  @mbbe1 the WordPress.com blog you are referring to is not registered under your account. Please reply from the ‘wpix’ account to verify the blog ownership so we can move the followers.

  Note that the migration is only able to transfer both e-mail and WordPress.com followers.
