transfer from goDaddy.com to WordPress.com

  Hi, I own performancenet.net and I have a hosted web site on goDaddy.com. How easy or difficult is it to transfer in this case? I almost think since my site is very simple I could actually recreate it on wordpress.com. Make sense? Thank you.

  Hi Bill, I just thought I’d add: yes in your case, since the site is fairly simple, I’d recommend starting fresh and copying things over. You wouldn’t even have to go for the exact layout, but we have many that are similar. You’d be copying the content over somewhat like this:
  https://transferto.wordpress.com/drag-and-drophtml-site-builders/

  I just recommend keeping the page names the same wherever you can, to preserve any existing SEO.
