  I’d like to transfer from webs to WP. How can I import pages and relocate the domain name (olafdammann.net) to WP?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, Olaf!

  As far as I know, webs.com does not have options to export content (which can be imported by other blogging services like, say WordPress). So, to transfer your content to WordPress.com – I’m afraid, you’ll have to copy paste the text manually.

  However, pointing your domain to your WordPress.com blog is quite easy. You’ll have to purchase a domain mapping upgrade from WordPress.com, and point the domain that you own to WordPress.com by changing its nameservers. (FYI – nameservers are default values associated with a domain which points it to the respective webserver, in your case – webs.com.)
