Transfer from Wix, Template, packages & plugins

  Hi there,

  I have a few questions since I am considering moving my website from Wix.com.

  1. How much time does the domain transfer take? Do I need to purchase a hosting package at WordPress when transferring the domain? At what point should I do this?

  2. I’m considering this premium template for my website – https://www.templatemonster.com/wordpress-themes/cryptoz-cryptocurrency-landing-page-elementor-wordpress-theme-217170.html. The template also has custom plugins. Do I need to purchase a business package on WordPress to get access to these plugins?

  3. Can I stay in the starter package and use the template above in full capacity?

  1. Transfers are relatively quick, just follow the steps at https://transferto.wordpress.com/wix/

  2 and 3. Yes, you will need paid Business or eCommerce plan to use third party themes https://wordpress.com/support/themes/uploading-setting-up-custom-themes/ and plugins https://wordpress.com/support/plugins/ here.
