Transfer from WordPress.com to GoDaddy

    Hi all,

    I am trying to transfer my wordpress.com site to a wordpress.org site hosted on GoDaddy. When I use the “migrate an existing site” option on GoDaddy, I get an error saying “Error checking login credentials”. I know my username and password are correct. How do I know what url to use? I tried my domain (tentspiration.com) and it doesn’t seem to be working.

    The migration they offer is to move from a different WordPress.org type site. You’ll instead want to follow this guide. https://move.wordpress.com
    Export the content from WordPress.com and import to a new site on your new host.
