    Where do you get the FTP? How do you download .org?

    Hi there – you get FTP from the host you choose for your custom WordPress(.org) site. There are many hosting options out there, I’ll try to stick to the essentials below.

    You may already know, WordPress.com has a custom WordPress option for you in our Business plan: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    With the WordPress.com Business plan you can install 3rd party plugins and themes, just like .org. And you get 24/7 access to world-class help from Happiness Engineers.

    If you would still like to move away from WordPress.com, you can download WordPress directly from WordPress.org. You’ll eventually need to install it on a host so you can have a live website.

    Some hosts offer to install it for you. You would need to do that research on your own. Lastly, you would find support for your site either your host, or through the WordPress support forums and community: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
