transfer from wordpress.com to wordpress.org query!

Hi folks!
I want to transfer my blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.org.
But I dontwant to loose my followers and the subscriptions and the likes and comments of on my posts. And I want to spend 129 dolloars on the servicewordpress offers to make the transfer.
So it is okay if i try to do the tranfer myself ?
So someone please tell me would I loose my foolowers and their likes if i make this transfer?…Thank you so much!

If you set up Jetpack (http://jetpack.me/) on your self-hosted site, you will be able to migrate followers/subscribers. Likes, however, cannot be transferred at this time.
