Transfer from wordpress.org back to wordpress.com

  I am having some issues. I was able to transfer from .com to .org super easy, but I am having issues moving back. I know how to export and import, but how do I go about transferring my domain name? Is there anything else I would have to do?

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com isn’t able to accept incoming domain transfers, so you’ll need to keep your domain registered elsewhere. You can then map the domain to your WordPress.com site from your Domains page.
