Transfer from wp.com to new host but keeping same domain…

  My client has a website created and hosted on wordpress.com, with a personalised domain (from worpdress).
  I am rebuilding their website but with the WordPress software from wordpress.org and a personalised template that I would like to set up on the same domain to replace their old website.

  I need access to the FTP so I am thinking of hosting it with Crazydomain.com.au but I want to keep the same domain AND keep the old website while I am working on the new…
  Not sure how to process…
  Someone can guide me?

  Hi Marie, we don’t have FTP access here, but you can transfer the site using these steps:
