Transfer from Yahoo! domain to WordPress? Or just map the domain? And which service from WordPress would be best (free, basic, premium)?

The site is my mother’s. I initially purchased it for her years ago and set it up for her. She now manages it. The provider is Yahoo! And the web editor is SiteBuilder. The editor and the interface are not great and have gotten worse over time. It is difficult for her to manage the site. I’d like to consider moving the site to WordPress. And would like to know about that process. I’d also like to know the hosting options and pricing schedules. And would the web content migrate? How? We don’t necessarily want it to migrate exactly the same if it will be difficult to edit with the WordPress editor later. She is a hobby dog breeder. The site is mostly photos and some text. There is no online financial exchange. Dog owners are local and transactions are in person. During the year there is limited activity. People find the site looking for puppies. There are updates to the site about two to four times a year.

You’d need at least a Personal plan to map or transfer a domain you already own to a WordPress.com site:
