Transfer GD Domain to WP

    I purchased a domain with Godaddy and wish I had purchased it through WordPress instead. I would much rather not use the domain Mapping cause then I’d have to pay a fee to GD and one to WP every year. I really just want to take my domain from GD and pay WP to have it.

    While we register new domains here at WordPress.com, we’re not able to accept incoming transfers of existing domain names. Therefore, we recommend that you keep the name registered at your current registrar. You can use the domain for your site here at WordPress.com by mapping the domain, as explained here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
