Transfer Hosting from BlueHost to WordPress

  Hello! :) I hope you all are having a beautiful day. I am hoping for some guidance in changing the way my website is hosted. I own the domain redhothope.com and had a wordpress.com site hosted through bluehost with this domain. My hosting plan with BlueHost has since expired. I am wondering if there is a way to switch to direct hosting on wordpress with a self-hosted site OR to change to a wordpress.com site but use the redhothope.com domain that I still own. Thank you!
