  I have transferred the domain to siteground.
  When I type in the domain name, it sends me to
  https://scottspirit.wordpress.com/
  So it is still with WordPress

  I took a look and the domain is now pointing to your site hosted at Siteground. It may have took some time for the domain to propagate, but it is no longer pointed to https://scottspirit.wordpress.com/. I would clear your cache if you are still seeing it pointed to your WordPress.com site.
