Transfer .is domain to WordPress.com

  I want to transfer my (.is) domain to WordPress.com. Is it possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com started incoming domain transfers (transferring domains from other registrars to WordPress.com) only recently. You can read about it <a href=”https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

  As mentioned on this list though, .is domain cannot be transferred to WordPress.com yet.

  However, you can signup for a WordPress.com plan and use a domain that you have registered elsewhere (the current .is domain you have registered at a different place). Follow the steps on this guide, it will guide you through how to map a domain you already own elsewhere with your new WordPress.com site.

  Yes, that is the only choice right now. You can keep an eye on the supported domains list page and it could change in the future.
