transfer Jetpack to another account

We’d like to transfer the jetpack connection to a new email but can’t do it without your help. Our current email is going away. Can’t just update because new email is already a wordpress.com user and we don’t have access to what’s needed to do this on our own. Please help?

Since there aren’t any paid Jetpack upgrades under this website, you can do this yourself.
From your site’s wp-admin, go to Jetpack -> Dashboard in your site’s dashboard. Then, scroll down to find the Connections area. Click the “Manage site connection” link as shown here: https://d.pr/i/mn434t
Then, click the red “Disconnect” button as shown here: https://d.pr/i/go6dCt
Click that, and follow the prompts to disconnect.
Next make sure you’re logged into the account that the connection needs to be established under (check https://wordpress.com/me) then follow the steps in wp-admin to set up Jetpack when you see the prompt to do so and make sure you’re using that account.
