Transfer my Domain Name to Go Daddy
-
I originally purchased my domain name The Holiday Wife.com with wordpress, but soon realized that I needed a host. I also a theme for my blog that would allow me to easily add plug ins, which I was not able to do. I was not aware there was a difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org.
I am contacting you because it was my understanding that I had to wait 60 days before I could transfer my domain name to Go Daddy, which I am now ready to do. I was instructed by Go Daddy to request WordPress to email me the following information:
1. I need to have you unlock my domain.
2. I need you to remove the privacy setting.
3. I need you to provide me with an authorization code.My domain is no longer pointed to WordPress.com and I no longer have access to WordPress.com or the store.
I am not computer literate, and would like to thank you in advance and let you know how much I appreciate your help in this matter.

You can actually do all of these steps yourself, by following the instructions on this page:
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Actually, it looks like the domain theholidaywife.com is owned by a different user here on WordPress.com. That user can access the domain by going to https://beccarose1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

Since you can access the beccarose1 account, you should now be able to go to the link I provided and initiate the process for transferring your domain.
