Transfer My Followers, Please

  Hi There,

  I had a Guided Transfer several weeks ago for my blog (jjbegonia.com). I am still gaining new followers on wordpress.com (over 100, as of today). Can you please transfer these followers to my wordpress.org account…Thanks so much!

  I’ve transferred your followers again as requested.

  I’m concerned that this is continuing to happen to you, though. Can you let me know if you’re seeing new subscribers on your new self-hosted site, or if all of your new followers are first appearing on WordPress.com? Please let me know so we can look into this further for you.

  Hi Jackie,

  Thanks for checking on this. I am not seeing that the last transfer went through, as WordPress.com is still listing me as having 125 new Followers, and I do not see any of them on WordPress.org. Generally, they show up on .com first, but it’s really a mix of how/when they appear. Again, thank you for your help! Please let me know if you need additional information.

  Hi there,

  Sorry about that! I’m not sure what happened, but I’ve submitted a new migration request and it appears to have gone through this time.

  So you do see subscribers first on your new self-hosted site, and they aren’t all coming from .com?

  No problem!

  I do see subscribers on my new site, however, I continue to get .com followers, that do not show up on the new site (For example, if you look now you will see that I have 3 new Followers on .com that are not on my new site). I have also noticed that there is an overlap, and new Followers will appear in both places, or fall off, or show up again on .com…

  Hi jjbegonia,

  Hmm, that’s strange.

  Could you do me a favor and monitor this for me over the next week or two, and see if you can identify a definite pattern? I’d also like to have email addresses of followers who are added to both your .com and .org site as well as those who may disappear/reappear.

  If you can identify any such anomalies, please contact me with that data via email (include #285736-f and my name in the subject line so it gets routed to me) and I’ll contact our Jetpack team to see if there’s something going on that they need to investigate.

  Hi Jackie,

  I hope you are well! I have been monitoring my WP Stats and continue to see the same issues. WordPress.com is currently showing 76 new followers, several of whom I know to have been followers for months now, so there is a redundancy – I am happy to email those names to you.

  I also noticed a huge drop off in my WP.org subscribers today, with the names of over 150 active email subscribers gone. This question may have to be for .org, but do you know if something is happening with the JetPack lists? It’s very alarming. Thanks so much!

  It would be great if you could let me know where there are issues with your followers. Please send me an email as I noted.

  As for the followers, we had an issue today that caused followers to appear to be gone. They are all still there, but the count appears incorrectly. See the sticky note:
