Transfer my old web to a new blog

    I used the same email address for a new blog and tried to transfer all the contents from the old website. When I changed before downloading the old website, it closed the page I was working on. I didn’t change my password and password but can no longer access my old website. Please help!

    Hi @happykaede, we might not be able to do much if the old site is already gone, but can you send a link to it? We’ll check to see what options are available.

    Also, you might contact your old host to see if they can put it back up for another month or so.

    I contacted Value-Domain, but their reply was that they usually only support WordPress installation, which didn’t help at all.

    My old website admin is https://www.sand-wich.net/wp-login.php
    and try to log in from the link [Login with your username and password] on the page. I will be redirected to the newly created website, WordPress.com/. It says to remove cookies, so I did on chrome, still didn’t solve a problem. I still want to access the old website before transferring every content to the new one. Please advise how to access it. Thank you

    If you switched your domain over, you would no longer be able to access your old site – the domain will only be associated with a single website at a time.

    Contact your old hosting provider and ask them for the temporary URL of your site (that would not use your domain name) that you can use to login via /wp-login.php.
