Transfer my own domain

  Hi I have my own .com domain name but was hesitant to purchase a plan and transfer it or map it. If I map it will .wordpress be added to my original domain name?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you map your custom domain to your WordPress.com site the .wordpress.com part will be hidden. You can read more here:
