transfer my own domain to my main site

    I didn’t like the name of my site, so I tried to change the name. It said the domain was taken, but when I looked at that domain, it had been deleted by the author. I set up a new site and reserved the domain I wanted. Now I need to transfer that domain to my main site, or conversely transfer all the content exactly as it is to my new domain. Any help would be great – the quickest and easiest way would be best!

    You can export your content to your new blog by following the instructions in this support page:

    Export Your Website’s Content

    Please note that this will only export your posts, pages, comments, categories, and tags; uploads and images may need to be manually transferred to the new blog.

    As the support page suggests, when you have finished the export you can import in your new site by following the steps here:

    Import a Website
