Transfer My Purchased Domain To WordPress

  I have purchased a domain outside of wordpress and im wanting to transfer it to wordpress and use it how can i do this ? My WordPress is just the free plan. Thank you

  You’ll want to pick out the plan that will work best to help you get started. Go to https://wordpress.com/pricing/ to do that.

  Then, you’ll decide how you want to use the domain here. You can transfer it or map it.

  1. Transfer: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/
  2. Mapping: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  So im guessing you cant use the domain on a free plan then ? thats a shame

  That’s correct. Our free plan is for free sites. Those end with .wordpress.com. Let me know if you have any other questions.
