Transfer my website from WA to WordPress
-
Hi,
I created my website electricpowerworld.com through Wealthy Affiliate programme, but decided to cancel my membership with them and transfer my website direct with WordPress, but not sure how.
I watched some videos that once i cancel my membership with WA, then i will have 30 days to transfer my website elsewhere.
Also, i followed the steps in WordPress by trying to instal Jetpack plug-in, but when i tried to activate it a message came up that WA has banned this plug-in. Not sure what to do now?Can you help me do that please?

This website migration can done easily through using a wonderful plugin called WP All in One Migration, it’s a third party plugin, and once you installed it, just go to WP-All in one Migration Menu in the sidebar, -> Go to Backup -> create backup and download it
go to the New website -> install that plugin and choose
-
Choose the import option -> and import the backup you downloaded, remember, if your website is less than 200 mb it can done using free plugins, if above 200 mb you need the pro plugin.

Hey there folks. @lamburovm, I did some searching and it seems Wealthy Affiliate limits what plugins you’re allowed to install. Are you able to install Jetpack at least? If so, and if you can get that connected, that’s another way to migrate the site here:
No matter where your site is now, you can move it to WordPress.com. This page will help you choose a method to migrate your website to WordPress.com. If you know what kind of site you’d like to import, click the menu option to the right to jump to that section. Import a WordPress.org Site If you have a site with another WordPress host or a local development/staging WordPress site, you canWe also have our own Migrate to WordPress.com plugin that could work. All of the options are listed on that page.
And if all else fails, we can hep you import content then build the design here. Let us know how we can help.
Also, thank you @amajeedali!
