transfer my weebly site to wordpress

    I have a website and domain name through weebly and would like to transfer it to wordpress. I have the free blog page with wordpress already. How do I accomplish this?

    Hi there,

    Transferring your domain is the simple part. You’ll need to upgrade your WordPress.com site to one of our paid plans. Then you can transfer it following these steps:

    Unfortunately transferring content from Weebly to WordPress.com is not simple, as Weebly does not provide an export file of your content that can be imported to other platforms. So you’ll need to use a third-party service to convert your Weebly site’s RSS feed into a WordPress-compatible import file, which you can then import to us.

    But it’s also not guaranteed that everything will transfer, and content that falls outside the site’s RSS feed, like static pages, won’t be imported this way. You’ll need to copy-paste those manually into new pages on your WordPress.com site instead.
