Transfer my WordPress Blog to GoDaddy

  Hello,

  I would like to transfer my Blog (which is hosted at wordpress) to my own private server. Is this possible? Meaning can I gain access to my db and site files?

  You can export your content from Manage->Export and then when you have WordPress setup on your hosting account you could import through Manage->Import.

  You can’t access the database and the guts of the blog, but you can export the posts and import them into a blog hosted elsewhere. That’s covered in the FAQ here:
