Transfer my WordPress.com purchased theme to my Go Daddy hosted wordpress websit

  I created a website on wordpress.com (defiantnyc.wordpress.com). I realized to use plug-ins, I would need the hosting to be through Go Daddy. Therefore, I set up a Go Daddy hosting account and re-mapped my domain name (defiant-entertainment.com). My problem is… I’m trying to transfer my purchased theme to the Go Daddy hosting, along with all my content, posts, etc.. I’ve figured out how to export all the content, posts, etc.. and was able to import that into my Go Daddy hosted wordpress website… my only problem is now transfering the theme. I can’t figure it out at all ! I’ve re-installed the original zip file into the “Install Theme” option, but it keeps on “failing.” If anyone knows how to do fix this, please let me know!

  Howdy,

  Premium Themes are customized for WordPress.com usage only, and cannot be transferred to self-hosted WordPress.org sites.

  Let me know if you have any other questions.
