transfer "no ads", then upgrade to Premium

  Currently, I have citydharma.wordpress.com with the “no ads” upgrade. In prep for moving to WordPress hosting, I have built another site, citydtest.wordpress.com. That site will become my new site that I will map to my domain, city-dharma.org. So, I want to move the no ads to my new site which I then will upgrade to Premium so that I have no ads, domain mapping, etc.
  If I transfer “no ads” to citydtest and then upgrade it to Premium do I get some credit for the “no ads” which I had already purchased?

  I am afraid not.

  I would just leave the no ads upgrade on your old site and upgrade to premium on your new site. Since you will have no ads as an upgrade there as part of Premium, there’s no reason to move the old upgrade.
