Transfer of a park domain

I am part of the JDR Academy podcast, (jdracademy.fr) and we would like to get the domain name https://jdracademy.com/
I saw that the domain was park and I would like to know when it will be released

If you registered the domain here at WordPress.com and have now let it expire you are taking a very big gamble that the domain will reappear for you to purchase it elsewhere at some point in the future. There are domain squatters who make a living buying up domains the second they are released in the hopes of making money.
It would have been more sensible to renew the domain right here so you still own the domain. Then it would be easy enough to transfer it or point it to another host if that is your intention.

In fact there was a name conflict around a project and another person reserved this domain name.
After a lot of discussion, he left it and we want to take it to avoid the same kind of trouble in the future.
That’s the whole story in a nutshell :)

That domain has been canceled and it will soon be available again for registration.
Please note that this is a process that can take up to two months as I don’t have an exact date of when the domain will be released.
If you absolutely need that domain ASAP and you’re not willing to risk losing by some other party when it becomes available, then you need to contact the person who had registered it and ask them to reach out to us. We’ll try and recover the domain and then they can transfer it over to you.
