Transfer of a web site from Aruba to WordPress
-
I have a personal domain (www.xxxxx.com) hosted by Aruba. This domain has been built by a professional webmaster who I cannot afford anymore. I would like to transfer such domain into wordpress and being able to handle changes by myself. It is not a blog but a website with different pages and links. It is made to advertise my professional services in Italy (which are handled in office, not online). If I have to rebuild the site is fine, as long as I can make it as website, not just a blog (although it will be directly linked to one blog which I already have on wordpress). Can you please advise? Thank you. Guido.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello Guido,
You certainly could build out a website which has static pages instead of posts. You will only need to change one setting in order to have any page that you would like load when someone visits your site (instead of your blog posts). Then you can link to any other pages off of that home page or in your menu bars. Here is a help article which walks you through that.
Unfortunately we do not have any way to import your current site if it was built by hand. You can only import sites from certain site builders (such as WordPress.org, Blogger, TypePad, etc).
Let me know if you have any questions!
