Transfer of account

    We are purchasing a business and they are using through wordpress for their emails. They will be transferring the domain to us hopefully in the next week as part of the buy-out. When the domain is transferred, will the emails continue to work? Will there be downtime? Is there anything we can do to make it go smoother? This is a wordpress to wordpress transfer. Thanks!
